mostly planes and some arizona
Went to Cave Creek, Arizona near Phoenix for a quick trip. Established as a gold mining town and stopping point for the U.S. Cavalry in the mid 1870s, it is supposed to boast a “Wild, Wild West” vibe. But didn’t really get to experience the local flavor, especially with the 100+ degrees going on (even in the middle of the night!). Hopefully next time…
At least I got to spend time with some fam, hang with my mom and step-dad before they leave for the PI and experience trailer life. There was also an amazing “Oriental” store (cringe) that was basically a superstore with amazing produce and seafood. Still have no idea where exactly it was.
Also, I love flying out of Burbank. Love, love, love. Plus, American Eagle has lovely customer service. When was the last time anyone said that about an airlines? Also, it was my parentals first time in a airline lounge. They felt super special. Cute.
Taken mostly while departing and arriving while not touristing from June 28 to June 30. 20187.
