los angeles union station

Opened in 1939, “the last of the great train stations” is the largest railroad passenger terminal in the western United States. The station’s signature Mission Moderne style (blend of Spanish Colonial, Mission Revival and Art Deco) makes it one of L.A.’s architectural gems. Designed as an expression of the California lifestyle, Union Station features spacious, well lit interiors and exteriors with shaded patios, towering palm trees and a clock tower looming 100 feet above the city.

Had a fun time sneaking in shots and exploring the space while getting my gala on. Taken during Junior League of Los Angeles’ Angeleno Night. May 6, 2017.
