let’s go blue!

Last minute Dodger game! An opportunity to not only support the home team and scramble to find a blue shirt in just the right hue, but to get a few shots in. Although there was a fair bit of wandering, still managed to witness the excitement of scoring three points in a row and winning against the Padres.

Did you know that Dodger Stadium is the third oldest ballpark in the MLB and the oldest west of the Mississippi? I sure didn’t. Completed in 1962, the stadium was recently upgraded in 2013. Built on top of the historic Chavez Ravine, the stadium provides views of downtown Los Angeles, the hills of Elysian Park and the San Gabriel Mountains as well as lots of snacks.

Taken on August 12, 2017 during  a spontaneous, summer evening with colleagues.
